Women’s Fellowship Group
Called “Joyful Hearts”, our women’s fellowship group meets monthly on the second Monday at 7:00 pm. The group enjoys devotions, fellowship, planning and supporting church activities and events. All women are invited to be a part of our women’s fellowship group.
Men’s Fellowship Group
Men's fellowship group meets monthly on Wednesday at 7:00 pm. The group enjoys fellowship, sharing time, and pray for each others.
Piano Concert
A Piano Concert starring Kevin Winebold, Broadway Performer and Producer of “Broadway Comes To Bell” plus Guest Appearances by Broadway Performers. A Free-Will offering and suggested donation ticket’s price will be collected including light refreshments. All donations will be sent to mission places where people need help.
Thrift Shop
Every Saturday from 4pm to 9pm. Location; Gym
Music Program
The choir meets Sunday at 9:00 am, before the worship service. They sing everything from the latest contemporary praise music to lively classics. Bayside church has an extensive program of participation by church members and friends who provide instrumental and vocal selections during worship. Anyone who is interested in joyfully proclaiming our faith through song and dance can see our music director, Kevin Winebold after the service, or you can call the church office at 718-229-4024 for more information.
Summer Fair & Yard Sale
Every June, our lawn becomes a Summer Fair featuring a gigantic yard sale, clothing sale, cake sale, jewelry sale, barbecue and games.
Vacation Bible School
The Bayside & Bayside Korean United Methodist Churches cooperate to offer a multicultural Vacation Bible School during the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter vacations.
Open Mic (Various Times)
Youth and Young Adults produce Open Mic Events numerous times during the year in the church gymnasium.
International Dinner (October)
A buffet dinner featuring food from around the world is a popular event at our church reflecting the diversity of the Bayside congregation.
Broadway Comes To Bell
Professional Broadway performers come to Bell Boulevard annually to perform current, and past Broadway hit songs. After the performance, concertgoers are treated to a free dessert buffet and coffee. The proceeds of “Broadway Comes to Bell” will be matched by our church and used entirely for missions and disaster relief. Missions include assistance to Puerto Rico, Global Refugees, Haiti Relief, New York Hunger Relief, and Appalachia Missions in past years.
Cafe’ Bayside
Cafe’ Bayside is open all year round and serves a variety of non-alcoholic specialty drinks and snacks. Great place for fellowship.
Sunday Brunch & Fellowship
Every Sunday after our service at 10:00 Am, light refreshments are served. After our 11:30 Am Korean service. Lunch is served. This is great opportunity to meet and greet with others at those times.
